How Commissions work
Commissioning a custom painting is a deeply personal and rewarding experience. Whether you’re looking for a meaningful piece for your home, a gift for a loved one, or a special artwork that speaks to your heart, I am honored to bring your vision to life while staying true to my artistic style.
How It Works
1. Contact & Consultation
Start by reaching out via email or phone to discuss your ideas. We’ll go over size, color palette, and subject matter to create a piece that aligns with your vision while maintaining my unique artistic style.
2. Timeline & Process
Commissions typically take 1-2 months, depending on size and my current commission schedule. Throughout the process, I’ll send progress photos so you can see your artwork come to life.
3. Pricing & Payment
Since each piece is one of a kind, pricing varies based on size and complexity. A 50% deposit is required upon agreement, along with a signed contract. The remaining 50% is due upon final approval before delivery. Payments are made securely via Square, allowing you to use any card or linked account.
4. Approval & Revisions
As I work, I’ll provide updates and progress photos. I allow revisions within reason to ensure you’re happy with the direction. Once the final piece is completed, I’ll send images for your approval. After approval, the painting is varnished, and no further changes can be made.
5. Delivery & Framing
Local clients: I offer direct delivery and local framing options.
Shipping: I can ship anywhere, including internationally. For overseas or large paintings, I recommend shipping the artwork rolled for better protection.
