Sometimes it just takes time right? This piece was a long process. Maybe a total of 20 hours of actual painting, but because of the layers and reflections and drying time took 2 months start to varnish for this painting. I went for more vivid color and darker than I'd painted any other piece so far. I really love the way it turned out though! My inspiration for this piece comes from sunsets in the desert and especially on the salt flats in Utah. Named "Dusk Reflections" the original piece is 18x24 oil on canvas. All originals are signed and come with a certificate of authenticity.
