Forest Stream
For this painting, I was inspired by these hikes we would go on as a family near Cascade, Colorado. There are some lovely views and a little waterfall along the trail up to several different mountain reservoirs in the national forest. At one point you can cross the waterfall on stepping stones, and the whole scene is peaceful and lovely.
