Swiss Lake
My inspiration for this piece comes from the mountainous beauty of Switzerland and Northern Italy. So many gorgeous lakes and otherworldly mountains found in and around that corner of the world! This piece took several months to complete and the original is quite large at 36x48in. Finished, I think this painting also shares a lot of similarities with Lago Di Braise in Northern Italy.
Our family loves the water, and my husband is a fantastic slalom skier so I added the family boat to the finished work as a personal touch.
Combining mountains and water in a piece is a favorite subject for me, and I love painting especially with palette knives for texture.
All of my art prints are locally printed and hand inspected, FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council) and are crafted with archival-quality materials. Showcasing stunning color and intricate details that mirror the depth and beauty of the original paintings. Each piece reflects a dedication to quality and authenticity.
